March is Women’s History Month across the country. To honor this special month, we encourage you to come and visit the new bulletin board. You can take a quiz, read some quotes, and find out about how women helped to shape our nation! There’s also a special section that shares some information about some talented and groundbreaking women from right here in Missouri! Women's history isn't just for women, and there’s something for everyone on our display.

.

February marks the observance of African American History Month and there are many ways to honor the contributions of African Americans to the history, culture and education of the United States. At Conway, we are honoring the rich cultural history and contributions of African Americans from around Missouri as well as celebrating their accomplishments in diverse fields from law to literature!

The month of December is known around the world as a month of activities and excitement. This month’s theme was designed to show case some of the diverse holidays and customs that will be celebrated across the globe. The diversity bulletin board has a little something for everyone and you can even get a chance to practice saying Season’s Greetings in another language. Make sure to check out this interactive display and surprise a classmate or friend with a new fact that you have learned!

Many different cultures and groups have contributed and shaped our country into the diverse place that it is today. This month we are recognizing National Native American Heritage. Although it wasn’t made official until 1990 by President George Bush, the First Americans have been making contributions to our present day society for hundreds of years. This bulletin board was created to recognize and celebrate Native American culture, heritage, history, art, and traditions!

Our Mission

Ladue School District has a diverse population that contributes to the richness of educational experience afforded students who attend District schools. The District has made the cultivation, understanding, and appreciation of diversity within the District and larger community a priority in recent years. Diversity includes, but is not limited to, issues of race, language, multiculturalism, inclusion, and gender. The District embraces a wide variety of programs and curricular initiatives that support multicultural concepts and practices. The District Diversity Committee continually studies and revises programs and instructional practices, as needed, to provide a learning environment that encourages students to strive to achieve at their highest level. As part of the Ladue School District, Conway staff is strongly committed to the implementation of the aforementioned initiatives.
