Meet Mr. Yates

I am thrilled to be teaching second grade at the school I went to as a child. After graduating from Ladue, I went to Ole Miss, Southeast Missouri State, and finally Westminster College. I received my Masters in Elementary Education from U-M St. Louis in 2006. I started as a Teachers Assistant that same year. Since then I have been teaching 2nd grade. These last 3 years have been the best teaching experience that I have ever had.

When I am not teaching, I am watching Hockey, playing Golf, going to Mizzou football games, or relaxing on my deck. When I am not sitting in front of the TV, I enjoy spending time out and about seeing theater, symphonic performances, and going to The Muny. Soon, my wife and I will be welcoming our first child into our household. I know this will be a great joy to come home to. I cannot wait to share all these experiences with my Conway family.
