This will be my 9th year teaching 4th grade at Conway.   I couldn’t ask for a better place to be!  I graduated from Missouri State with my bachelor’s degree in 2000.  I started my teaching career in 2nd  grade at a private school in Creve Ceour for two years.  After that I worked at Ladue Middle School as an assistant for 8th grade.  The following year, I found my home here at Conway, teaching 4th grade.  After I started teaching at Conway, I decided to continue going to school to pursue my master’s degree in education at Lindenwood University.  I received my degree in 2006.

I married my wonderful husband in the summer of 2010 and we couldn’t be happier!  Brandon and I are also having the time of our lives with our baby boy, Maddon!  It’s amazing how much love one little guy can bring to our lives.

When I am not at school, I spend my free time relaxing with my husband and playing with our son.   I enjoy going for walks, shopping, and reading.  I also enjoy spending time with my family.  I have four sisters and six nieces and nephews.  I am lucky that most of them all live nearby and that we are able to have many family gatherings throughout the year.  This summer, we were all able to arrange our schedules in order for all 18 of us to go on vacation together in Branson, Missouri.  That was the first time we had all gone on vacation at the same time in many years.  We had a blast!

I am looking forward to getting to know each of my students and share my love of learning.  I have an amazing group of students and know that we are going to have a fantastic year.
