Please continue to work on the May calendar. Complete at least three activities each week and initial them. At the end of the month, please return the homework calendar.
By the end of 4th quarter your child will be expected to:
* Add basic facts fluently within 5
* Subtract basic facts fluently within 5
Help your child learn the letters of the alphabet and the numbers 0-30
by downloading and practicing with flash cards.

Kids also need to learn strategies for identifying unfamiliar words:
* Look at the beginning sounds.
* Can you break it apart?
* What makes sense in the sentence?
* Look at the pictures.
* Does it look like another word you know?

Snacks must be store bought, preferably individually packaged. They must also come in the original packaging containing the ingredient label. Please plan to serve 18 children and remember to include napkins.
We will not need snacks on Early Release days or party days.
