Mr. Bursac grew up in Saint Charles, Missouri and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Missouri in 2004. During 2004-2006 Mr. Bursac spent his time pursuing a career as a professional artist creating, showing, and selling art at various venues throughout the United States. It was during this time that Mr. Bursac knew he wanted to pursue a career in teaching.  He decided to enroll in a graduate degree program in art education at the University of Missouri. After finishing his training in teaching in August of 2008, Mr. Bursac got married and spent the next year substituting in three local school districts before being offered the opportunity to join the staff at Conway Elementary School.
            
One of Mr. Bursac’s favorite things to do in his free time is to create art.  Whether throwing pottery, woodworking or shooting photographs with his handmade pinhole camera, Mr. Bursac enjoys making things with his hands. Over long weekends and summer break Mr. Bursac and his wife love to go on road trips to new places. When he is not traveling or creating art, Mr. Bursac enjoys cooking and baking for his friends and family – especially delicious chocolate chip cookies. Wherever he is, Mr. Bursac always explores and learns about new artists, techniques, and media so he can turn these new ideas into art projects.
