Nancy Maxwell Walther
Education: University of Illinois (degree in Music Education)
Professional Background: I have been teaching music at Conway since 1983. Before that, I taught at Price and Wright Elementary Schools, Ladue Junior High School, and Streamwood High School (suburban Chicago). Other jobs included Assistant Director of the St. Louis Children's Choirs, Tournament Director for the Gateway Section of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA), and the Saint Louis Symphony Chorus. Sometimes we go to New York City with the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra and sing at Carnegie Hall. Two summers ago, I attended an amazing choral music institute at The Juilliard School.

Personal Info: I was born in St. Louis, and I grew up in Columbia, Missouri. I'm married, and I have terrific stepkids who are grown with families of their own. We have seven super grandkids, ages 2-11.
Favorite activities: Spending time with my family, playing with our grandkids, golf, playing piano, cycling, traveling, Snoopy, sharing my love of music with the terrific kids at Conway
Favorite places I've visited: Arizona, California, New York City, Florida, Scotland, Ireland, and China
Favorite sports teams: Missouri Tigers, Fighting Illini, St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Rams, Ladue Rams, Downtowners, Charlie's Angels, Purple Panthers
