We are looking forward to a very exciting year! We have lots of new creative ideas and programs planned for this coming year. One of many is the kick off of our new web site, access code: 09428, which will provide you with better communications, an online Rambell, Parent email network, interactive social network, group activity planning abilities, along with many other features to be announced. What has your Parent Association accomplished in 2010 for the Ladue high school community? • Raised $17,000 for the Ladue Scholarship Fund (Dollars for Scholars) • Purchased Rams Stadium sound system $3,964 • Purchased a Smart board for the music department • Purchased a ceiling projector for the cafeteria • Purchased tables for the commons • Purchased decorative plants for the Performing Arts Center stage • Provided grant to support Science Olympiad team to the Nationals • Provided grant to support the Laduettes trip to Nationals • Provided grant - Warm up suits for the Ladue Step team • Co-sponsored (with Dads Club) district wide Chili Supper • Provided food and volunteers - Hospitality room for Limelight artists • Parent Network Book Club and Guest Speakers • Post Prom party for 500 students • After Grad party for Class of 2010 • Pizza for Blue Crew Olympics • Spring Conference dinners for the teachers and staff • Staff Appreciation luncheon • Four - teacher appreciation breakfasts throughout the year • Freshman parent social (First Annual) • Grade-level parent coffees • Refreshments for college counselor presentations • Published Rambell phone directory • Volunteer support for staff and several of the clubs as needed throughout with year Help make a difference in the Ladue High School community! With the payment of your dues, we can provide more services, grants and activities throughout the year. Dues are our primary source of support to assist school functions and they are tax-deductible. Please give what you can. Donations are accepted all year long, but in order to set our budget, early support is encouraged, and much appreciated. Thank you! Stop by and visit us! The Parent Association will have a table at the following upcoming events: Freshman Parent Meeting - August 19th Blue and White Night - August 24th Ladue High School Open House - August 26th Volunteer sign up, pay dues, sign-up for eScrip, learn more about the website and other upcoming events. Remember YOU are the Parent Association and together we can make a difference! There are many opportunities to get involved! We need your help throughout the year.
