Introducing the
Spoede Broadcast Team
August 16th, 2010 was a historical day for Spoede School! Throughout the school, staff and students enjoyed our first live broadcast. Morning announcements, including what is on the lunch menu for the day and birthdays, start the day off in an attention getting way. Each day of the week has a theme: Meaningful Mondays students get a quote of the day. Riddles or jokes hopefully encourages us to smile on Tickler Tuesday. Wowser Wednesday showcases an item that makes us all think, "WOW or Wowser!" Ms. Paula has been providing R.O.C.K.S. information to make us stop on Thoughtful Thursday. The last day of the week is Fun Friday. This is a morning where we just do something fun! Sometimes it involves a movement activity. The fifth grade students are in charge of our morning broadcasts. This summer, a group of students agreed to come in and be trained. This group of leaders will help train the other students when it's their turn to broadcast.
